Our Team
Our first born, Bobby Jean is our winemaker and she has been working out here since she was knee-high to a grasshopper, but she’s been making the wine for the last six years. A couple of years back, she got herself one of them fancy degrees in Enology. People seem to like her work, ‘cause we keep getting scores in the 90’s.
Our youngest, Junior, just got finished with his schoolin’ last year and came home to be our National Sales manager. He seems to enjoy seeing the sights in other places and checking out all of those highfalutin hotels. Sometimes he has so much fun he can’t get to the meetings we have scheduled.
We’ve got a couple of other smart people running around the place. We’ve got Ernest the accountant who can add up numbers so fast it makes my head spin. He has a real knack with paper and pencil. Maybe someday we’ll get him one of them computers to play with.
Fanny Jane, who used to do all the marketing for the Long John Silvers in Vallejo, keeps herself busy sending out all kinds of fancy letters and e-mails and such to try to drum up more visitors. She also helps us add curly cues and such to our label.
We have hired some really smart folks at a management company who are always running around the vineyard keeping track of what all’s going on with the grapes.
We have three part-time folks who help out in the tasting room. One of them, Tammy Faye has been with us since the beginning and she’s religious about making sure the other two part-timers show up when they’re supposed to. They get paid a little extra when they sell something.
